Experiential Creative Strategy and Management
In 2019 Vudu - an OTT streaming platform previously owned by Walmart - announced it would host its first Digital Content NewFronts showcase in New York City alongside competitors like Hulu, Target Media Network, Disney+ and YouTube.
To encourage ad spending and media industry interest, we placed high priority on the Vudu platform’s unique ability to connect the viewer directly to their Walmart.com cart without interrupting the content. I developed and executed a creative strategy that transported attendees into the Vudu experience. From the front doors, attendees were engaged with platform value propositions, surprised with a high style photo wall and greeted at a conceptual Walmart pop-up shop, featuring demo ad spots and their coordinating products. After taking a seat, we delighted them with a crisp and engaging presentation and gave them a hands-on demo of the platform upon their exit. The event garnered over 500+ attendees and exceeded advertising commitment goals. The 13 agencies that attended NewFronts collectively spent over $8.34MM in ad commitments with new-to-Vudu brands (14x ROI).
